|This setup should make even those anti-Litespeed types to take notice. OK, the frame is a stock Ultimate (not shabby by any standard), but the components are incredible. This is the bike he won the USPro criterium championships on. The stem is a piece of work, and the Thomson Laid Back seatpost is cool. The Speedplay Zero pedals have adjustable float from 0 to 15 degrees. The hubs on the Cane Creek Crono Carbon wheels have a nice aero detail. |The mechanic says he has never had a problem with the frame quality from Litespeed. That should say something about the quality of their construction, or the racing frames are built in a different part of the production line from the mass produced frames. I honestly have no opinion on Litespeed other than a lot of people ride them here in Colorado. |
Good article, and a sweet looking bike. Also, based on the bike, Kirk's a small guy!!
