|I have a 1" thread fork on my schwinn circuit and I want to go to a 1" threadless fork will a 1" threadless headset fit my frame?? thank you|

|There is no difference on the frame requirements. A threaded headset can even by converted to threadless by filing out the threads on the top race, and tossing the locknut.
By the way, I used to own a Schwinn Circuit. I remember the steering being pretty quick. If you can, try to find out the head tube angle and the fork rake before making a purchase. If in doubt, a 40mm rake is the least rake commonly available and would slow the steering a bit.

|that the less the rake, the slower the steering? If I had a bike I considered "twitchy" and have a hard time keeping in a straight line, would this be the way to compensate? Or is this just a minor part of the overall? (Let's leave out talent and skill for the time being.)
