|There is a pretty good site at cyclery.com with free classifieds. It is just now back up and running and has potential for more viewers now that RBR has changed format.|

|Anyone tried clubvelo.com
No mfgr ads, good format and searching capabilities. Just needs about 20x more participation.

|if there was no reason to charge, I'm sure it'd still be free.|
|RBR is not Ebay.||G.D|

|RBR hardly commands the billion hits per month that ebay does. I can post an item on ebay for .40 cents and have a couple thousand people look at it or $3.00 on RBR and have a couple hundred.
This is why it should be free. Did you notice that the marketplace on RBR went from over 200 ads per day to 12?
I still think it is total B/S. There are hundreds if not thousands of places to post FREE classifieds ads. Problem is people come here to read and find deals.
I seriously doubt you will becoming here anymore for the good deals on their marketplace and I think the 12 whopping listings is proof.
RBR kiss my ASS!

|I have to agree that RBR will not make if they expect people to pay them to post adds. They make money from companies that advertise their products on their site etc. I won't be placing any more adds with RBR.|

|Aw, come on. Why should it be free? Try putting an ad in a newspaper (or anywhere else) and see what it costs you. You're getting a captive audience, interested in your product, and everybody's crying about three bucks. If you don't want to pay it, don't use the service.|| |
