Where do the Racing Triple components fit in the Record, Chorus, Daytona scheme. I believe that the crankset is the same as the Daytona triple, but what about the deraileurs?

It's between Daytona and Chorus in terms of the quality of the finish. I've got some pictures of it (2000 model year) as it looks on my CX bike here. Campy is coming out with new 10 speed triple gear for 2002 that everyone is eagerly awaiting.

Three or so years ago I built a bike, all Athena with the racing triple. At that time it was the only high end triple Campy made. It appears Daytona has basically replaced Athena. After all that I guess I'd have to say your guess is as good as mine.
