any ideas for fitting flightdeck head to odd shaped bars?wes_london

i am interested if anyone has a solution to fitting a flightdeck head unit to a NOT round bar.

in awe of the cinelli integralter bar/stem combo i finally just had to have it for my new road project but when thinking of attaching it i am not sure if i will have to concoct a special bracket to hold the head unit. the top part of the bar is like an aerofoil wing which is about 3 inches in circumference.

does shimano make any special fittings for cases like this (i hear a few of you sniggering) or are they true to form in only basic consideration?

ideas suggestions would be appreciated.

ciao, wes

Yes, I've used black zip ties in place of the bolt. You could also look at some of the triathlon fittings made for attaching computer's to odd shaped bars: Profile, Scott, Syntace, etc.
