I have my eyes on a set of Velomax Circuit Comps at my local bike shop and Im looking for any comments on these wheels because I couldnt find any reviews on them. I went to there web site and read about them and the seemed to be pretty nice for the price. Any help would be great, thank you

I've got a set of Circuit Comps. At the time I purchased them it was a toss up between them and the Spinergy SR-3's. I could have gotten the SR-3's for less but decided to get the Circuit Comp's for several reasons, including:
Higher spoke count on the front wheel 24 vs 20 (I weigh 175lbs so this was a concern)
Lighter weight, 1650g vs 1760g
Easily replaceable spokes
With the PitStop deal they included Michelin Axial Pro tires and tubes

I didn't ride them prior to purchase but I did get to ride the SR-3's on a bike setup like mine and the ride felt very similar.
In comparison to my other wheelset (Open Pro 32h 14/15 3x Ultegra) they definitely feel stiffer and a lot lighter.
Would I recommend them? Yes, because I think they are a great wheelset for the price, however I did not pay full retail for them.

If you're read Velomax FAQ's you'll notice that these wheels were designed for OEM Schwinn's. I wouldn't be suprised to see Supergo blow these out in the next few months.

Velomax has some voodoo tech session in which they teach wrenches the weirding way of trueing their wheels. The rear is a bear to get right and stay that way. My Ascent rear went out after a few hundred miles and between myself, 2 shops (one actually with a clue) and Velomax trying to fix it I got my money back... The Circuit Comp looks like a great deal - so long as it stays in one piece.
