hey i have a Trek 1000, and i know someone who is selling a trek oclv carbon fork. He said the steer tube is 5-1/2 inches long 1" THREADED.
Will this fit my Trek i have all stock parts? and i have a regular stem.

It would help to know your headtube length.

if your current fork is the same length as the one you want to buy, and it's the same diameter (you have 1", what the new one?) and there's sufficient threading on the new fork to install your upper headset race and lock nut, it will work. Fork steerers come in different lengths depending on the size bike they're intended for. So, hey, you can figure out for yourself if the new one will fit. Hey.
