Campy cassette spacings(4 posts)

Campy cassette spacingsbloke

Can anyone tell me the cogs on a 12-25, 12-27, and 14-25 (is there a 14-27)?

Anyone have any thoughts on which is the best bet if you are going for a hill group from a 13-23 on a double?

Tks.

Standard Campy spacing:

11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - {17 - 19} - {21 - 23}
12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - {16 - 17 - 18} - {19 - 21}
12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - {16 - 17} - {19 - 21 - 23}
13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 18} - {19 - 21 - 23}
13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 19} - {21 - 23 - 26}

They don't make a 12-25 in 9 speed. You would have to build it yourself or go 10 speed. Standard 10 speed spacings w/ steel:

11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 19} - {21 - 23}
12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - {16 - 17} - {19 - 21} - {23 - 25}
13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 18} - {19 - 21} - {23 - 26}
13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 19} - {21 - 23} - {26 - 29}

Standard 10 speed spacing w/ Ti:

11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 18} - {19 - 21}
11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 19} - {21 - 23}
12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - {16 - 17} - {19 - 21} - {23 - 25}
13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 18} - {19 - 21} - {23 - 26}
13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 19} - {21 - 23} - {26 - 29}
13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 18} - {19 - 21} - {23 - 26}
13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - {17 - 19} - {21 - 23} - {26 - 29}*

I'm not aware of any 12-27 or 14-27. I'm fairly sure Shimano makes the rings and you can always use campy spacers if you really want that gear. See http://www.brandfordbike.com

Those cassettes sound like Shimano ranges. You could try a 13-26 or 13-28 (Veloce grade loose cog cassette) if you need more than a 23t cog.
