anyone using the new Look CX7's yet?Dog

I just ordered a pair; seems like they just became available.

My 206's and 296's just wouldn't allow my heel to come inward enough, and Speedplays hurt the rear of my legs. The CX7 is supposed to allow angular adjustment, which might help.

Anyone actually used or adjusted these yet? Any comments? Thanks.

Doug

Doug, I haven't used them yet, but I saw them in Schwab Cycles in Denver last week. It's amazing how adjustible they are. I particularly liked the level adjustment. I tend to walk on the outside of my right foot. With these pedals, you can adjust the platform by up to 3 degrees. I'm definately going to order a pair

Just received the pedals. I thought they adjusted in the heel in and out plane, but they don't.

They adjust for Q-factor, but really only outwardly from normal; if you need more Q, great.

There are several bracket thingies that you change to adjust for pronation/supination in 1.5 degree increments from -3 to +3. No fine tuning. I have no idea if I need this.

And, release tension is adjustable.

Everything but the one adjustment I need.

The appearance is OK, but not at all aero, as the bottom is completely open to the mechanism and springs. I'll weigh them, for what it's worth.

Disappointed.
