I just aquired a Bianchi third or fourth hand. Does anyone know how to identify a Bianchi by the numbers on the frame? Or, any other way for that matter? As if that isn't bad enough, all the Campy components on the bike have NO indication of their respective models either. Help, Please!!!

If your Bianchi does not have a model name on it (e.g. Campione D'Italia, Veloce etc.) you should probably look for the sticker that gives you the name of the tubing set (most likely Columbus tubing). Many of the higher end (Reparto Corse) frames were known simply by the tubing set name (e.g. EL/OS, Genius). If you can identify the tubeset name you can e-mail Bianchi and ask them approximately how old the frameset is and what models used the tubeset. I asked them about a tubeset from the 1980's and they responded promptly to my inquiry. I am puzzled that the Campagnolo components have no identifying information. That may be a harder puzzle to solve....
