DURA ACE THUMB SHIFTERS COMPATABLE WITH CAMPY?David Derkacs

Does anyone know if Shimano Dura Ace thumb shifters, which one would install on a set of aero-bars, are compatable with Campagnolo Chorus front, and Campagnolo Veloce rear derailleurs? Thanks.

Spacing in the indexing of Shimano is different from the spacing Campy uses. It won't work.

It's true that the spacing is different, and using a Shimano Bar-con in the indexed mode will not work. But the Dura-Ace bar-cons can be set to work as a friction shifter, and will work with any derrailleur in that mode- you just won't have the reassuring 'clicks' every time you shift.
