|I know this question may be inane, but I am going to ask it anyway
where can I get the individule cogs, and off size chain rings
I was thinking of building a
14-15-16-17-19-21 23-25-27, I am going to Alaska where I am told this particular ride is mostly up hill. I dont really think that I need to have anything smaller than a 14. Does this grearing sound ok or would I be better Having a 42 and 32 chain ring and run a straight block for a DA 9 speed

I'm not sure if you can start with a 14 or not. Maybe someone else can shed some light on that.
I've never seen anything smaller than a 39 that will fit a double chainring crank. To go smaller than a 39 tooth chainring you would probably have to use a Triple crank.
