FYI - Zipp bottle cages(2 posts)

FYI - Zipp bottle cagesfreespirit

Bought some Zipp carbon bottle cages. Overpriced, but boy do they work. 36 grams a piece. They hold the bottles absolutely firmly, quietly, but still allow easy removal and replacement (even without looking down). Plus, must be the most aero bottle cages, as they fit the bottles like a glove.

Hard to improve on the old Elite Ciussi stainless, but the Zipps really do, IMHO.

I agree with you. I have the bottle cage to match my Zipp wheelset. Very light (mine is at 33 grams) and the bottle is held firm but not so firm as to make it difficult to pull out for a quick drink. Overpriced? Yes, but very functional.
