Speeddream owners, could you wax poetic...Jim S

on why your wheels are so great? I'm going to upgrade my bike, and am looking at the wheels as a main upgrade/weight savings. Also, what's the main differince between the aerolights and the other road wheels Dave offers ( yea, I know, call and ask him.)

I checked Am.Classic's too, but, alas, they were not available with Campy hubs.
Wax Poetic...I promised "PMF" not to do this becuase there is a several week wait on Speeddreams and he wants his BAD!. So PMF, don't read this: I was comparison shopping between Kysriums, Nucleons, and the speeddreams. If purchased overseas, the price on all three is about the same. Purchased in the USA: The speeddreams save about $250. If purchased overseas, you effectively have a no service available if there is a defect (imagine having to ship them back to Ireland and waiting for a return). Reputation: All three have a great rep. Dave Thomas has a superiour rep as a builder and servicing the wheels after sale: note: a two year warranty. Weight: K's 1600-1850 grams depending upon who you believe, Nuc's 1600-1750, Aerolights: +/- 1400 grams (my clinchers are 1428). Aerodynamics: K's and Speeddreams use essentially the same profile rim (according to Dave). Compatability: I use Campy, and there have been questions on the Mavic campy hub for the K's. My Speedreams use a rear Record hub and a front Am/Classic hub.

Now to waxing poetic....light, stiff, aero, fast, slide through the wind. I dropped over a pound (450grams) from my previous wheelset. I feel quite a differnce. I love'm. Problem wife won't let me bring them to bed anymore...
