Noisy Chorus 10sp Freehub - Advice neededblackjava

Hi,
I just switched to a new Campy Chorus 10 sp drivetrain. Everything works great except for one thing - the rear freehub is really noisy. Don't know what could be the reason. Do any of you have the same problem? What could be causing this? How do I silence it? Would appreciate any advice I can get.
Thanks.

Are you talking about the pawl noise??? If you are, then that's sort of normal for C10 hubs. I've got two C10 hubbed wheels and both were quite "noisy" when new. The campyphiles around here would probably cringe but I dripped some tri-flow into mine and that seemed to quit them a bit. Works for me.

YMMV JohnG

Thanks for the advice. They just seemed excessively noisy when compared to my previous nine speed hubs. Will try out your method and see how it goes :)
