|Cinelli quil to ahead adaptor||Ping Pong|

|I have recently bought one of these adaptors, hoping to stick a spare ITM big-one stem on it to try some different bar positions. I am not familiar with ahead systems, let alone this adaptor. The adaptor came with no instructions, and the mail order place I got it from seemed not to care what I did with it!
1) The stubby end that attaches to the stem is shorter than the clamp on the ITM big one - Problem?
2) There is no max limit on the height for the quill part, does it have to sit right down, or if not do I need to buy a spacer to do this?
Any help would be appreciated!

|ITs ok if its shorter than the stack height of the stem by up to 5mm or so. If its more than that I wouldnt run this stem.
I would guess that since there are no maximum lines on this adapter, it was meant to run all the way in.

|Yes, I'm running the Cinelli quil adaptor with the ITM Millenium stem and bars. I run it all the way "in". Mine also is a few mm short of reaching the top of the stem's opening. This let me finish it off nicely with a SRP gold dust cap to match the gold frame/fork.
I've got a couple of thousand miles on this set up with no problems, slip, or adjustments needed... (so far...) My headset is Ultegra/600 on a Trek icon fork (Trek Y-77 y-foil frame.)
Hope this helps.
