My question is that I saw a great deal on Axial Pros for something like $27.00 at saddlesore.com and wanted to buy them. What is currently holding me up is that the web site says that they are 700-23f not 700-23c. At the Michelin web site there is no mention of an 'f' for the Axial Pro. What's up?

This was the extra-wide tire that Michelin designed and unsuccessfully marketed in '99. If you can find a framebuilder who can spread your dropouts sufficiently, the tires sound like a bargain. ;-)

The "f" key is just above and to the right of the "c" key. I am 100% positive it's a typo.

You're right. It was a typo. They have since changed it to a 'c'.
Get this. I just gave them a test order for one Axial Pro 700-23c and my cost including shipping to me in Taiwan was $33.95. Great price! Will update the board on the service once I receive the order.
