Auto paint verses Powder Coat, what is better and $$Less?Bill B

Hello, I have a homebuilt tandem that I have put together and need to refinish. I was planning on getting it sand blasted and then powder coated but I'm not that familiar with finish work and wondered if any one had an opinion on what provided a better and longer lasting finish. Also, has anyone had this done on a solo frame and know around how much this should cost when I go the the paint shop? Thanks

Be carefull if you go with powder coating. Once, when I used to race motorcycles, I took in a set of aluminum wheels for p-coating, and they came backed warped. Even though just slightly, they were ruined from the heating process used in p-coating.
