|I JUST BOUGHT A NEARLY NEW KESTREL 200 EMS, 56CM. I FIND WHEN IN TRYING TO GET A PROPER FIT - I AM 5'10" - THAT MY KNEECAP IS FAR FORWARD OF THE PEDAL SPINDLE WHEN AT THE 90 DEGREE POSITION. CAN ANYONE SUGGEST AN OFFSET SEATPOST THAT MIGHT HELP ME? HAS ANYONE EVER ENCOUNTERED THIS PROBLEM? THANKS JOHN|

|If you're using a Thomson post or one of the other straight up brands, just about any road post with setback would be a big improvement.
Most road posts with setback place the front of the seat rail clamp approximately at the centerline of the seat post. The American Classic has a small top clamp that allows the saddle to be placed a little further back. The inexpensive Kalloy post also has more setback. If you really need a lot of setback there's the pricey LOOK carbon fiber post.
Saddles also differ in rail placement. The SDG line of saddles has rails positioned for more rearward movement, than most road saddles.
