p.s.i. Michelin Axial Pros ??LLSmith

The Axial Pros that came with my bike have max psi of 110# stamped on them. The new ones have max psi 102# or 7 bars. They appear to be the same tires. Does anyone know why the psi is different? Thanks Larry Smith

New ones are probably a wider tire (25 v. 23 or similar)

I own three 23mm AP's, and mine say 110 PSI. They have all been bought within the last 6 months.

My last set of APs were listed at 110 psi. I was cleaning my bike after reading this message and found that the APs on my new bike are rated for 116 psi. Maybe my next set will be up to 120 or 130. :-)

Fuzzybunnies answered the question on the 700x23 vs. the 700x25 air pressure difference. I ordered two new 700x23 APs. Maybe they have changed the max psi. Have to wait and see when the new ones get here. I have been filling my current ones(rated 110#) to about 115# on the front and 120# on the rear with no problems yet. Larry Smith
