Securing Teflon-coated cables(Nervz)roy m

I would appreciate any suggestions on securing brake and derailleur teflon coated cables(Nervz). After tightening the clamp bolt on derailleurs and brakes the cable slips when tension is applied . Should I be scraping the teflon coating off the cable at the clamping areas or is there a simpler way? If it makes any difference the brakes and derailleurs are shimano. Thanks in advance.

Had the same problem the first time i used teflon. At least for me, just tightening the clamp a little more made the hardware cut through the coating and grab the cable.
