|Campy Spindle Length question...||Nate|

|Does anyone know the minimum (or correct) spindle length a guy can use with a Campy 8sp drivetrain (1995 Record)? My chainline isn't too pretty at the moment with the 111mm I currently have...my small chainring/largest cog combo appears to strain the chain somewhat, mainly due to the distance of my crank to the BB face. I'd like to decrease the distance between the small chainring and BB face as much as possible.
Any info would be great...thanks for your help!

|With 1995 8-speed, there were two spindle lengths. For everything other than 180mm cranks, the spindle to normally use is 102mm (103mm?). That length was introduced in '95 with their new low-profile design. If you have 180mm cranks, Campy kept the design from 1994 (non-low profile), and that used the 111mm BB.|
