I have a Deda stem/bar combo but I can't mount my computer on the oversized handlebars. What should I do?

I encountered the same problem and addressed it by using a Sigma computer. The trick was to use the Sigma rubber band that had been on my old bike for the past 9 months or so. It had stretched enough over that time that I could get it around the bracket and the Newton bar. Even so, it took quite a bit of effort. Now if I can just figure out how to mount my lighting system on the bar.

I've got the 31.7mm Deda and the FlightDeck. I used a black tie on the thru holes where the screw goes on the mount which works good.

Sigma Sport makes a stem mount kit for their computers. It is a very clean looking set-up leaving the bars bare.

I had the same challenge a couple weeks ago, and someone here suggested getting a computer adapter for a set of aero bars. It offers a small handlebar sized cylinder with a large adjustable strap that easily wrapped around my stem. It acutally worked out really really well. I think I paid $8-9 bucks for the piece, and Profile and another couple companies make that mount. Look for it at the LBS.
