I am building a old Road bike up and I need to get a crank. I am a poor college student and I can't aford much but I have found a Sora Crank with rings for around $50. How good is sora stuff? Is the crank flexy? How well do the rings wear. Thank you for your help

Have you checked the classifieds here or placed a WTB ad. You should be able to do better than that POS Sora for $50. I think the rings are steel. If so,wear shouldn't be a factor.Have you checked www.nashbar.com for clearances?
Nashbar had 105 triple cranks for $50 a month agoashey

They still might if you check. They do require a splined bottom bracket though but thy're almost a pound lighter than Sora.
