Campy Ti CogsKen

I recently outfitted my new bike with Record 10. I also paid for the all titanium cassette. How do I know they're all titanium? Can I make a confirmation through visual inspection? I definately am not going to perform a hardness test or a specific gravity test. If I can't make visual confirmation I guess I'll just have to trust the LBS.

...are non-magnetic. If you got the standard Record-10 that has a mix of ti and steel, you can clearly see the difference. The steel ones are shinyer. Titanium has a dull grey color.

The magnet test is probably the easiest.

Agree on the magnet test.

But note that Campy gives this out with 9 cogs in Ti and the last (smallest) in steel. Don't know why they do this.

Did you find a Ti lock for the 11 tooth cog. If you did, appreciate if you can tell me where you got it.

Thanks.
