I am looking for a good set of wheels to use on a daily basis. I have narrowed the field to the Ksyriums or the Dura Ace wheels. I am looking for a smooth, light set of wheels that will be able to endure everyday riding. I would like to get some opinions about which to choose and why before I invest the money in a particular set. Thanks for your help.

Between these two, I would get Ksyriums. I know many people who have them and they all are happy with them. I looked at Shimano and the one thing I really dislike is the rim surface where the rim is joined. It is not completely smooth and leads to vibration when braking.

I have no experience with the Shimano wheels. I have had a pair of Ksyriums for over a year now. I've been really pleased with them. They are bulletproof. A nice combo of aero and light weight. There are lighter wheels and more aero wheels, but none that have such a good combination (OK, maybe the Zipp 404, but those are really pricey). Shop around for them. You can do way way better than the $800 retail price. Don't be afraid to buy over the net, or even overseas on the net.

Having said all that, I presently lusting after a pair of Speeddream Aerolites. It never ends.
