I understand that Daytona has gone 10spd from this year and uses the Record chain. Is there any danger that Campy will discontinue making chains for 9spd Daytona cassette? Do I need to stock up on 9spd chain??

thanks.

SRAM makes a perfectly decent substitute, complete with power-link.

Campy for 2001 has come out with new re-designed 9sp gruppos, based somewhat on their 10sp design. The new 9sp Record/Chorus/Daytona chains, cassettes, and rings are now called Ultradrive, and will work with your Daytona 9sp. So you don't have to stock up on Campy 9sp, it will still be here for years to come!
